Crap.

Well, from the look of things, the previous post's idea about gaming at Xixecal's place on Saturday is a bust...he has stuff to do here in ol' Enn Jay, so going back there the same night and gaming would be difficult and irritating.
Anyway, I do still want to get together and play, preferably the game I tried to run last time.

******** We need a place to play. If you have any ideas, please post them here.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I checked the poll I set up a week ago, and the results are in! Our of 8 people, 4 voted. The game of choice is my new D&D game.

Tonight's game - Saturday, March 11

As far as gaming today, I'd be up for running my D&D game, or if the Wee One is available I could try to continue l5r (not to exclude him from D&D, but I thought you folks were happier with the l5r game.) Bunny gets out at 9, so whoever's available after then let me know.
Also, we need a place to get together. Who's got ideas?

(Snafu - sadly, there are no sigs in this system...that's more of a forum thing. Now that I think about it, a forum might have been a better choice, but who cares anyway :P)

Blog downtime

For SOME reason, the blog was hit with an incomplete publish and the template got messed up. I can't figure out how, given as I'm the only one who can click 'publish' or modify the template...but it happened anyway and it did sort of suck.
So, I'm getting to work on some nice Javascript polls to head onto our new right sidebar! (woo)

So much activity!

Okay, without further ado, I am going to begin compiling a list of all our running, unfinished games. If I missed something, please let me know.

* (Me) Legend of the Five Rings
* (Me) Unnamed Interdimensional D&D Game
* (Me) Coranth 2.5 (the one Vilnolin played in last)
* (Me) Mutants & Masterminds
* (Bastard GM) d20 Mecha
* (Bastard GM) PSI
* (Bastard GM) The 'Forgotten' Fantasy Game (pun intended)
* (Dismal Snafu) Naruto d20
* (Dismal Snafu) The BESM Game
* (Cypher) The Evil Game
* (Cypher) The Round-robin D&D Game
* (Xixecal) Stargate

So, what do you folks feel like pushing forward with and finishing? If we get some activity here, we can come to a decision and set a date to play something. And that, as Strong Bad says, is freakin' awesome.

Blog's all set up - user pics too

After much futzing, I have successfully put together a Javascript that will display a 75x75 image alongside your post name, to make it easy to figure out who posted. Also, it looks damn cool. If you have a url to an image you'd like to use, post it here and I'll plug it into the script when I get a second. I'd like to recommend Imageshack for hosting if you lack a gallery of your own to link (Sheezyart image url's work fine, if the damn thing's ever actually up).

Mission Statement

I'd like to officially open this topic up then:
What would you all like to play next?
If you have a favorite character from way back you miss playing/never got to play, or a setting you were particularly enjoying that died out, post it here. There are a number of games running now, but even if it goes beyond the scope of those we can try to work something out and get a consistent game going.
I ran what was supposed to be a dumb D&D one-shot last night for a few folks and the world I threw together is beginning to grow on me, so I'd like to officially add that one to the growing list of games I'd like to continue.

*Continues to work on the blog design*

My predicament

Hopefully this will help for just some insight as to what my roleplaying availability will be.

Currently I have a high avilability, but this will change once I get back onto WoW and all of you know how that can be with me. My problem is that WoW feels like it soaks up too much of my time. Due to some things I need something to keep me preoccupied or bad things happen. WoW is too time intensive and Magic is too costly, and most other MMO's I have played don't really cut it. So what do I do?

Use more paragraphs? Nah, but I certainly am uncertain as to what to do. Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thnx!

The obligatory opening post

It is with great joy, possibly even fervor, that I elevate our wonderful Invisible Floating RPG Group into the blogosphere. Like it or not, I've done it, and I plan to stick with it for better or for worse.
I will admit it may seem a bit frivolous, but after a few, shall we say scheduling hiccups, many of our running games have begun to crumble. We have - I believe - roughly nine unfinished games out there now, all of which have seen more than one session. Eventually I'll get around to making a list. Either way, this is something that I have serious problems with.
The primary aim of this blog is to create a centralized place that all of us can use to talk about availability, playing preference, and random RPG-related drivel, without resorting to eight or nine phone calls in a frantic hour immediately before the game.

...it has nothing to do with the fact that that other, more organized RP group has a blog...really. Don't judge me.
